Pale yellow in colour, essence of lemon meringue, dried straw, fresh stream water, croissants, and mineral complexities. Toasty and creamy with a delicate kiss of oak.
Vineyard Notes
Planted in 2003 on the precipice of the Trout Creek Canyon. This south facing vineyard has sandy soil that is dotted with large granite stones, producing spectacular Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from two large terraces.
Production Notes
Harvested, riddled, corked, caged, foiled and labelled by hand, with love.
Winemaker Notes
Single-vineyard, brut-nature. Traditional Method made from 100% Chardonnay. Ambient ferment, unfined, unfiltered. Aged in neutral french oak barrels for 5 months, aged for 14 months sur lies in bottle. Disgorged by-hand in March 2023.
