Lightning Rock Winery is a beautiful family estate overlooking Okanagan Lake in Summerland, BC owned by Ron Kubek. His daughter Jordan and son in law Tyler are the winegrowers and operators.
Together as a family they create living wines from their three unique vineyards. They farm using full-circle, organic farming methods and their hands off approach in the winery allows the personality of each vineyard to shine through in the wines. Their desire to create harmony between nature and winegrowing is something that really resonates with us at Joy Road.
On the night of, guests will be greeted with a glass of Lightning Rock's delicious bubbles followed by a multi course family style meal by us, Joy Road Catering.
Our dinners are a bounty of seasonal produce 100% coming from local suppliers, farmers and foragers. Each course will be perfectly paired with a glass of Lightning Rock wine.
Our long table dinners feature & celebrate; local wineries, breweries and cideries wild foraged foods, farmers and local purveyors. We look forward to celebrating the bountiful Okanagan with you this summer!
