Made with 100% single vineyard/Estate grown fruit, this pinot noir is true to the vintage (a late start to summer, followed by a long finish) which produced wine with zippy acidity, low alcohol and lots of length. You could say that 2022 was an underdog vintage that comes in for the win. Classic in colour, this wine is very pinot noir expressive, complex, alive and multi-dimensional. It has aromas of leather saddle, pipe tobacco and vanilla pod on the nose, with soft, velvety tannins. Wild sagebrush, toasted spices and rose petal on the palate. With just 10% ABV (make it a 9oz!), it’s an excellent lighter-style summer red with low tannins that still packs a pinot punch, like Sugar Ray Leonard without the Sugar part. Served at cellar temperature, it is super versatile for pairings with seafood, pissaladière, lemony pastas and vegetable-forward meals. Ready to drink now.
