Tasting Notes
Deep, inky purple colour. Pretty, light, delicate palate. Olives, fennel salami, porcini and moral mushrooms sautéed in butter, blackberry, crunchy autumn leaves, chocolate, root, gun powder green tea, sassafras and bbq smoke, violets.
Vineyard Notes
Planted in 2006, Elysia Vineyard overlooks Okanagan lake to the east, primarily getting the early and mid day sun. Syrah thrives in a rock oven at the lowest terrace of this site's steep slope in glacial till and decomposed granite soil.
