Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This ripe pinot has aromas of cherries, leather and rocks which carry onto the mouth with a chalky graphite texture and some raspberry jam. Very earthy and brambly.
Vineyard Notes
Planted in 2006, this vineyard overlooks Okanagan lake to the east, primarily getting the early and mid day sun. Between the very steep slope and a mix of limestone and decomposed granite soil, this is an ideal place for vines to thrive. Here we have Pinot Noir, Viognier and Syrah. We are able to make a variety of delicious wines. With panoramic views from Peachland to Penticton it is a truly amazing place to work and live.
Winemaker Notes
Fermented in three tanks with different percentages of whole cluster, fermented spontaneously, pressed
to neutral oak of varying sizes.
